Which is Better Soy or Whey ProteinIf you’re into exercise and in particular supplementing your exercise with protein there is a long standing argument as to which protein supplement gives better results, soy of whey. Researchers at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Evansville says it appears they are equal.

Researchers at the Southern Indiana campus have been experimenting for years and recently rats helped them determine whether animal protein was better or equal to vegetable protein.

Experts agree that protein was important for muscle growth and muscle recovery, the next logical question is does the type of protein make a difference?

The results, published in the Journal of Nutrition, took sports enthusiast by surprise, soy protein performed equivalent to whey protein.
