Wendy’s Changes To Healthier Cooking Oil
Looks like your french fries and breaded chicken items will now be fried in non-hydrogenated oil, it’s about time!
Wendy’s execs indicated the new blend of corn and soy cooling oil has zero grams of artery-clogging trans fat per serving and will cut trans fat in those menu items by 95 percent.
Wendy’s has been testing the new oil for over a year in 370 restaurants in Florida, North Carolina, West Virginia and Ontario, Canada. [Source - msnbc.com]
