Unhealthy Food Sales Suffering From New Labeling
The Sunday Times - Britain has reported that sales of “unhealthy” foods have fallen by up to 40% since supermarkets started revealing fat, salt and sugar content on labels.
City analysts have found that within two months of Tesco introducing nutrition labels in April last year it was selling 26%-37% fewer prawn mayonnaise sandwiches and ready meals such as steak rosti bake and chili beef noodles.
