Peppery Cheese Popcorn

Everyone loves popcorn as a movie snack, especially when it’s “doctored up,” making it both fun and satisfying. Casablanca, anyone?

PREP TIME: 5 minutes

COOK TIME: 5 minutes

6 cups freshly air-popped popcorn (1/3 cup unpopped kernels)
Butter-flavored cooking spray
2 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Salt

Place popcorn in a large mixing bowl and coat lightly with cooking spray. Sprinkle with cheese and pepper and toss to combine. Season with salt and more pepper to taste; serve.

Makes 2 (3-cup) servings

Per serving: 120 calories, 3 g fat, 1 g saturated fat, 5 g protein, 19 g carbohydrate, 4 g dietary fiber, 220 mg sodium
