Green Apple and Peanut Butter Sandwich
This tasty open-faced ((sandwich” is a quick and easy pick-me-up snack when midday hunger strikes and time is tight. Note: Count the 1 tablespoon of peanut butter as half of your total nuts allowed for the day.
PREP TIME: 5 minutes
1 tablespoon creamy or crunchy trans-tat-tree peanut butter
1 large whole-grain crisp bread cracker
1/8 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
Spread peanut butter on cracker and top with apple slices.
