Control Weight, Lower Fat and Cholesterol Levels with Black Soya Beans
A recent South Korean study points to black soy beans as a way to control weight, lower fat and cholesterol levels and help in prevention of diabetes. Lab rats were encourage to pig out on a fatty diet which was supplemented with black soya.

Lead researcher Shin Joung Rho of Hanyang University in Seoul indicated after two weeks those getting 10 percent of their energy from black soya had gained half as much weight as those in the control group. Total blood cholesterol fell by 25 percent, and LDL cholesterol, or bad cholesterol, fell by 60 percent in the rats.
